Detailed
itinerary:- From the beach to the bush
Arrival on Socotra
considers the Galapagos of Indian Ocean. Drive a long the coastal road to your
hotel, relax in the hotel for few minutes then having your lunch. the afternoon
activities is a visit to Delisha coast which consists of pristine white sand,
relaxing swimming both in the sea and in the fresh water lagoon,all with
beautiful mountainous background. There is also possibility of witnessing a
fabulous sunset from Delisha.Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Hadibo.
Day 2: Enjoy Diksam
the local village with dragon's blood tree forest (Diksam
– Darho village)
After
breakfast we will make our way by 4x4 vehicles to Dixsam plateau and Shebhan
view point. This area is renowned for the native Dragon's blood trees and local
trees, and also renowned the people are Bedouin nomads and we will experience a
warm and curious welcoming and traditional lifestyle, and there is a small
handicraft shop sells local products. Lunch will be in the canyon and swim in
the fresh water pools in the wadi .Dinner and overnight in Darhoo village.

3 : Explore
Degub cave and relax in the sandy beach of Omaq
After breakfast drive straight to Nouged Southern part of the
island . The other choice is to drive a head to the southern part of the island
(Nouged) you will visit Degab cave which overlooks a scattering of villages
below. the cave it self is of interest as there are many stalactites,
stalagmites and pools of water that has seeped through the rocks over time,
then we will drive to
Omaq campsite where we could swim In the clear water of the Indian ocean, we
will have our lunch in Omaq camp site, after lunch you can walk a long the
coast and climb the sand dunes, dinner and overnight in Omaq campsite.
Day 4 : Relax and enjoy the sunshine | Qalansiya - Detwah lagoon

After the breakfast we will drive to
Qalansyia village (Detwah protected area) which is
famous for it sandy lagoon and its spectacular landscape, sting rays can be
seen in the lagoon, so take care when swimming .this lagoon is in the
west of Socotra and the best site to witness fabulous the sunset. Overnight in
the campsite.
Day 5: Explore the pristine beach of Shoub which is famous for dolphin presence ( Shoub beach – Qalansyia )
early in the morning we
will take a boat ride to Shuab. This morning you will enjoy a boat ride with a
local fisherman, be sure to look out for spinner dolphins a lon the way. And
observe the sea birds e.g cormorants, seagull, and you will watch a big cliff
in front of you most of the birds are nesting in it. Line fishing may also
possible from the boat, you will enjoy swimming in the pristine beach and visit
the mangrove trees, then late afternoon we take the boat ride to Qalansyia,
have your lunch under palm trees, drive back to Hadibo,than to Ar-Ar is a
fantastic place for swimming in the beach and climbing the highest sand dunes
in Socotra…
early in the morning after
breakfast we will drive to discover Dihamri marine protected area, which
is home to one of the richest coral reefs of the archipelago. Many marine
animals can be seen during swimming, snorkeling and diving, including
parrotfish, moray, eel, Rays, and many different fishes. We would like to
remind people not to touch the corals in the marine protected area as this
would cause irreversible damage. Dinner and overnight at Dihamri protected
area.
Day 7: Explore Hoq cave, visit the only Socotra folk museum Local endemic plant nursery
This morning after
breakfast we drive to Hoq cave,
we trek from the base of the cave, the cave itself is 2.5 kilometer long, the
largest cave in the middle east, and holds a wealth of Socotra wealth, inside
we can find stalactites, stalagmites and rim pool. Ancient writing and drawing
on the cave wall.
Then we will trek down to the car, having the
lunch and then we will drive to
to visit the only Socotra folk muesum. Than drive back to Hadibo, visit the only
endemic plants nursery in Socotra. Dinner and overnight in Socotra Hotel in
Hadibo
Day 8: Goodbye
Socotra!
Breakfast and drive to Socotra airport for
your flight to Sanaa. .wish you a pleasant journey! Goodbye
